　本学大学院・自然人間共生科学専攻2年の荒川裕亮さん（指導教員： 環境科学科 柳井清治教授）が、6月1日に京都市の京都先端科学大学で開催された2019年度日本景観生態学会において、「北陸から東北日本海側地域におけるカワヤツメの漁撈と利用文化の変遷」というタイトルで発表し、ポスター賞を受賞しました。

　荒川さんは北陸から東北地方まで聞き取り調査を行い、近年急激に減少しているカワヤツメの資源量、の変遷と、それを捕獲する文化に地域性があることを明らかにしました。荒川さんはこれまでの研究成果が評価された喜びをかみしめつつ、以下のようにコメントしました。「景観生態学会の先生方とお話できたことや、たくさんのご指摘を頂けたことは、今後の研究活動を進める上で貴重な財産となりました。さらにポスター賞を頂けたことはとても嬉しく、協力して頂いた全ての方々への感謝の気持ちでいっぱいです。」
