　2019年度から生産科学科に生産環境制御コースが新設されました。これに伴うキックオフ事業の一環として、生産科学科の1年生全員を対象とした体験実習を12月9日と10日に実施しました。十数人ずつ3グループに分かれて、コース長の村上賢治教授ほか3名の教員の指導のもと、植物工場として稼働しているLEAFラボ内の環境測定や人工光源の波長構成の測定、培養液成分の測定などを行いました。実際に同ラボを利用して研究を行っている大学院生や学部4年生のサポートもあり、参加学生からは生産環境制御コースで学ぶ内容がより具体的にイメージできるようになったとの声が聞かれました。
