養豚経営の安定化を目指したスマート農業（畜産）プロジェクトを推進しています

（国立研究開発法人）農業・食品産業技術総合研究機構の委託によるスマート農業技術の開発・実証プロジェクト「Iotデータ活用を通じた持続可能な養豚繁殖モデルの実証」（代表:生産科学科 橋谷田 豊教授）を実施しています。本プロジェクトでは、養豚経営の安定化を目的として、豚人工授精精液の適否判定装置及びセンシング技術による発情、分娩、体調のモニター・アラートシステムの開発・実証を国内3か所の養豚場で展開しています。牛の生産現場でIot技術が一般化しつつあるなか、豚での取り組みは本邦初といえます。繁殖作業の省力化、時間短縮の実証に加え、本学学生らの協力により、未習熟な繁殖管理者の補助や教育ツールとしての可能性も示されました。（独立行政法人）家畜改良センター、埼玉県農業技術研究センター、日本大学、ユニアデックス及び石川県畜産試験場の共同研究です。詳細はMAFFチャンネル（農林水産省の公式チャンネル）からYou Tubeでご覧ください。https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AxJkibujobU
