演題は、「Effect of bacterial cellulose and inulin in ameliorating obesity and gut microbiota in high-fat-fed mic（バクテリアセルロースとイヌリンが高脂肪食飼育マウスの肥満と腸内細菌叢に与える改善効果）」であり、バクテリアが生産するセルロースとイヌリン（多糖類の一種）が肥満を抑制するメカニズムの違いを腸内細菌叢への影響と胆汁酸排泄作用から明らかにしました。
本成果は、肥満を中心とした生活習慣予防への貢献が期待されます。
