2024年11月2日に日本大学文理学部で開催された第32回日本雨水資源化システム学会大会研究発表会で、小林さんが発表した「UAVマルチスペクトル画像のヒストグラムに着目したSPAD値の推定」が受賞対象となりました。
小林さんの研究は、マルチスペクトルカメラを搭載したドローンで水田圃場を撮影して得られた光の反射率からSPAD値（葉緑素量を示す値）を推定するもので、従来の反射率の平均値を用いる方法ではなく、反射率のピーク値に着目することでより精度を高められることを明らかにしました。
本研究の成果は、スマート農業の発展に役立つことが期待されます。
