白未熟粒発生を抑制する栽培技術の確立

　北陸地方で問題となる白未熟粒は主に基白粒や背白粒です。これらの白未熟粒の発生は高温だけでなく窒素栄養状態に強く影響されます。イネの成育後期の窒素栄養状態の改善によりこれらの白未熟粒の発生は軽減されますが、コメのタンパク質濃度が高くなりすぎると食味が悪化することがわかっているため、北陸地方の気象環境から最適な窒素施用水準を明らかにして、栽培技術に役立てようとしています。
